Latitude and Ornge sign contract to supply Flight Data Analytics services

Latitude Technologies is pleased to announce the company has signed a three-year contract to provide flight data analytics services to Ornge for their fleet of Leonardo AW139 helicopters.  Utilizing existing onboard SSQARs, Latitude will assist in developing an HFDM program whereby digital flight data generated during line operations is collected and analyzed to provide greater insight into the total flight operations environment. The information and insights provided by FDM can also be used to reduce operational costs and significantly enhance training effectiveness, operational procedures, maintenance and engineering procedures. Latitude will supply software to download the data from the aircraft and the means to securely transfer it electronically for analysis. Victoria, BC – March 3, 2015 – First introduced in 2012, Latitude Flight Data Analytics™ (LFDA), Latitude Technologies web-based flight data management system, has been very well-received by fleet operators deploying Latitude’s IONode™ FDM system. In keeping with Latitude’s commitment to continually enhance the customer’s experience with all the company’s products and services, Latitude has added a number of important new features to the LFDA platform for 2015. New LFDA features include an expanded landing page dashboard with fleet status, event trending, aircraft usage statistics, and other configurable modules. Navigating through the LFDA dashboard, users now have access to an approach analysis toolkit to help in identifying unstable approaches and glideslope deviations. US Forest Service Selects Latitude Technologies

Victoria, BC – March 2, 2015 –The USDA Forest Service has awarded Latitude Technologies the contract to supply Operation Loads Monitoring  Systems (OLMS) for deployment by the US Forest Service on government and contractor  aircraft engaged in aerial wildfire fighting operations in the US over the next four years. Government-owned aircraft include Cessna TU 206 and Citation Bravo, Raytheon King Air 90, A100 and 200, DeHavilland DHC-2 Beaver and DHC-6-300 Twin Otter, Douglas DC3TP, Shorts 330 (C-23), Rockwell Commander 500 and applies to all aircraft procured or contracted for by the Forest Service throughout the life of the contract. The Latitude contract includes the supply of monitoring systems for data acquisition, signal conditioning, and downloading of acceleration, strain as well as fuel, engine, control surfaces including spatial parameters, air pressure, temperature and retardant quantity to mention a few; up to a total of fifty-six continuous analog parameters.
