Latitude DL150 now certified on Gulfstream G450 and G550

Chicago Jet Group Receives Aircraft Model List (AML) STC for Latitude’s Satellite Data Unit. Latitude's DL150 Satellite Data Unit Chicago Jet Group (CJG), the premier installation and training facility for Next Generation Satellite Services (NGSS) including CPDLC for FANS 1/A+ and ATN, has received FAA approval of AML STC ST03262-CH for complete FANS 1/A+ system installations that incorporate the Latitude DL150 Satellite Data Unit (SDU) onto 12 additional business jet models. The STC is based on the Universal Avionics Systems Corporation SBAS Flight Management system and uses the Latitude DL150 SDU as the CPDLC/ADS-C data link. The STC is approved for CPDLC operations using FANS 1/A+ and meets the PCBS requirements for RCP240 and RSP180. The Chicago Jet Group FAA AML STC is EASA approved with Canadian and ANAC approvals expected in the next two months. Latitude’s Next Gen Satellite Solution Installed on Gulfstream G-III

Latitude Technologies Corporation has announced that its DL150 Datalink SDU has been installed on the Gulfstream G-III to provide CPDLC/FANS/ACARS satellite datalink services. The installation was completed in mid-July 2017 with the issuance of the FAA/STC expected by the end of October 2017. The DL150 was interfaced to the Universal Avionics UNS-1/UL-801 UniLink System. The company’s SkyNode S200 was also installed with an RC6000/A Control and Display Panel to enhance flight deck communication and add a global SATVOICE Long Range Communications System (LRCS) capability to the cockpit. The systems were installed on an undisclosed Gulfstream fleet operator and paves the way for the scheduled installation of 9 additional aircraft.
