Latitude Announces FAA STC on Dash 8 Series for SkyNode S200 Satcom and IONode FDM

Victoria, BC – October 22, 2014 – Latitude Technologies, the premier global supplier of flight data monitoring, flight tracking, and Satcom solutions for transport aircraft, has received FAA STC ST07675NY, validating installation of all versions of Latitude’s best-selling SkyNode® S200 flight-tracking and Satcom voice and data transceiver as well as Latitude’s IONode ION100 FDM on Bombardier Dash 8 series including Q100s, Q200s, Q300s, and Q400s. The SkyNode S200 and IONode FDM system automates real-time in-flight event notifications as well as post flight analysis from an aircraft’s analog plus digital bus operational and maintenance related parameters. Gaining the Dash 8 FAA STC is another important milestone for Latitude, further expanding the company’s substantial library of IONode FDM and SkyNode S200 FAA, TCAA, and EASA STCs, and further expanding Latitude’s certifications for Part 25 commercial transport category aircraft.
