Latitude Technologies Corporation has announced that its DL150 Datalink SDU has been installed on the Gulfstream G-III to provide CPDLC/FANS/ACARS satellite datalink services. The installation was completed in mid-July 2017 with the issuance of the FAA/STC expected by the end of October 2017. The DL150 was interfaced to the Universal Avionics UNS-1/UL-801 UniLink System. The company’s SkyNode S200 was also installed with an RC6000/A Control and Display Panel to enhance flight deck communication and add a global SATVOICE Long Range Communications System (LRCS) capability to the cockpit. The systems were installed on an undisclosed Gulfstream fleet operator and paves the way for the scheduled installation of 9 additional aircraft.
Latitude’s President, Mark Insley comments “our customers are unique and we pride ourselves on maintaining a leading position in offering effective and cost-efficient solutions. For this customer, adding the Latitude Technologies FANS 1/A+ and voice Satcom terminals to their capabilities with a proven product set solved their need to meet the CPDLC and ADS-C mandates.”
Latitude will be showcasing the DL150 SDU and the S200-012 SATVOICE Terminal, including the latest RC6000/A(S) dialer, at this year’s NBAA, held in Las Vegas, Oct 10-13, Booth C7814.
